Life is full of my favourite things and at this time in my life those things include writing and photography. I have taken a huge leap of faith in the universe and a following of the inner voice to leave the 'work' world to pursue that which I am drawn towards. That includes writing. Sharing that which is within with the world. New personal realizations every day and learning more about myself than ever before. Becoming 'effortlessly myself'. Writing and photography are such personal endeavors. Expressing one's ideas and then capturing that in form which is shared without judgement is a pursuit of inner growth. I wouldn't have it any other way.
My first co-created book, is now published Short Stories From A Long Life. A collection of short stories by my late father, Dr. Wynnfield Young Watson and curated by myself.
My next, and very person book, World Sanctuary: Writing A Horse~Human Vision into Existence AND Wisdom Realized Along the Way is now available as well. A vision that was shared with me over thirty years ago of a place that promises to be: An eco-system without judgment and with clarity, where conflict and disagreement are softened with love. Where space will be held so gently that all will be able to hear their hearts and souls. Where those who come, learn to walk tenderly on mother earth and hold all of nature, including themselves, in a compassionate embrace. Where the horses are central and walk beside humanity.” Check out: www.worldsanctuary.ca for updates on the evolution of that vision.
A bit about me: I consider myself a passionate and joyful human being. I am grateful for every minute of the life I live. I make my home just outside of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I have enjoyed many fabulous adventures on my journey through life so far. These include; mother, equestrian coach with my own farm for 20 years, equine photographer, worked in the humanitarian field for 15 yrs, an avid traveler and lifelong learner in the field of human potential. I am the founder and publisher of Equine Leadership magazine and also host: Inspire Me Forward. A series of inspirational conversations with some remarkable human beings. Currently, I am taking time to follow through on writing projects that have been in my heart for quite a while. Of course, the horses are never far away and I freelance as a coach in the field of Equine Facilitated Learning. Or simply sit with them and share time and space. To compliment my coaching with the horses I am certified as a Trauma Sensitive HearthMath Practitioner. Equine work, in whatever form it has taken in my life, has instilled in me the insight that a horse’s model of living is a gateway to personal, community and global change. A brighter future so to speak. I live my life to: Inspire compassion and enhance the evolution of the human heart
